We are looking for an organised and experienced Administrator to join the busy Administration Team at our Head Office in York. This is an exciting opportunity to join Pavers, we are a growing York based retail company with exciting times ahead!

This varied role will involve providing administrative support to all the departments at Head Office and specifically our expanding network of stores nationwide. You’ll need to be an excellent multi-tasker with the ability to prioritise and communicate well at all levels.

Salary: up to £19,000 plus bonus and benefits including free on-site parking

Full Time Permanent - 39.5 hours per week


  • Organising travel and accommodation for Pavers employees and producing concise travel itineraries
  • Assisting the HR Team with sourcing and booking external meeting rooms.
  • Managing the switchboard and correspondence within the company (emails/letters/packages etc.)
  • Making purchases on behalf of other departments within the company
  • Managing the company fleet, organising lease contracts and arranging vehicle maintenance
  • Monitoring the company business vehicle insurance and carrying out DVLA license checks periodically
  • Supporting the Pavers Foundation administration team when required
  • Drafting, formatting and printing relevant documents
  • Interacting with directors and following through with their requests
  • Handling of petty cash payments, staff expense requests and completing the reconciliation of the company credit card statement in a timely manner
  • Processing invoices and using the purchase order processing system efficiently
  • Managing stock of office supplies and place orders when required
  • General administration duties

Skills Required

  • Previous experience in a high paced administration environment
  • PA experience would be beneficial
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Strong prioritization and organisational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Highly numerate
  • Familiarity with office procedures Strong Attention to detail
  • A desire to show initiative
